Warmup troubleshooting

Work through warmup pauses, stalled ramps and mailbox health warnings.

Quick answer

Go to Warmup, identify the mailbox's current stage and health reason, then fix the named mailbox or authentication issue before you resume it.

What you need before starting

  • Access to the workspace that owns the mailbox
  • The mailbox connected and visible under Email Accounts
  • Access to the mailbox connection if its setup needs attention

Step 1: Read the current status

Go to Warmup and find the mailbox. Check its stage, health indicator, current daily volume, and any pause or recovery reason shown in the row.

Step 2: Check the mailbox

Go to Email Accounts, open the same mailbox, and confirm it is active, connected, and not showing Setup required, Sending not ready, Verification required, or Error.

Step 3: Check mailbox readiness

In the mailbox details, review its status and follow the action shown if setup or sending readiness needs attention.

Step 4: Resolve the reason before resuming

  • For a setup hold, complete the mailbox action shown and check again.
  • For a bounce or complaint hold, stop campaign traffic from questionable lists and review the affected recipients.
  • For a connection error, reconnect the mailbox and confirm the health check passes.
  • For a slow Ramp Up stage with no warning, leave the ramp unchanged and allow it to progress.

What success looks like

The mailbox shows a healthy or recovering state, the blocking reason clears, and warmup resumes within its configured schedule. Activity can remain at zero outside that schedule or while higher-priority campaign traffic uses the available capacity.

Common problems

  • Warmup is paused again after resuming — the underlying protection reason was not cleared.
  • No activity today — the warmup window may be closed, or campaign traffic may be using the mailbox's available capacity.
  • Mailbox is not ready — open its details and complete the required action.
  • Mailbox looks healthy but does not progress — confirm it is active and its warmup schedule includes the current day.

Quick troubleshooting

  1. Refresh Warmup and read the newest reason.
  2. Open Email Accounts and check the mailbox status.
  3. Confirm today's warmup schedule is open.
  4. Resume only after the blocking status has cleared.
  5. Contact Support if the mailbox is active, the schedule is open, and no progress appears after the next scheduled window.
